Transparent Taxation Platform: PM Modi gives gift to honest taxpayers; Faceless Assessment and Taxpayers Charter in force today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday launched the "Transparent Taxation, Honoring the Honest" platform in honor of honest taxpayers. The platform includes major reforms like Faceless Assessment, Faceless Appeal and Taxpayers Charter. The government has implemented Faceless Assessment and Taxpayers Charter from today. While the facility of faceless appeal will be available for citizens across the country from 25th September i.e. Deen Dayal Upadhyay ji's birthday. On this meeting, PM Modi said that even though the tax system is becoming faceless, but it is giving confidence to the taxpayer for fairness and fearlessness.

On this meeting, PM Modi said that the honest taxpayer of the country plays a huge role in nation building. When the life of honest taxpayer of the country becomes easy, it moves forward, then the country also develops, the country also moves forward. The new arrangements, new facilities, minimum government, starting today, strengthen our commitment to maximum governance. This is a big step in the direction of reducing the interference of the government from the life of the countrymen. This is the use of new governance model of new India and its good results are coming in the country.

PM Modi said that the Taxpayers Charter is also a big step in the country's development journey. Now the taxpayer has been assured of fair, courteous and rational behavior. That is, the income tax department now has to take care of the dignity of the taxpayer sensitively. Now the taxpayer will have to believe it, the department cannot look at it with suspicion without any basis.
