NEW OPTION IN GSTR 1 IMPORT E-WAY BILL DATA - GST NEWS
Information
- Tax Payer having less than 50 E-way Bill in current tax period will be displayed all the E-way Bill invoices online, taxpayer can choose few or all invoices for import in GSTR1. After successful import these invoices will be included in GSTR1. Tax payer will be able to edit imported invoice data in GSTR1. This option will be suitable for Taxpayer, who are preparing and filing GSTR1 online.
- Tax Payer having less than 500 E-way Bill in current tax period will get a download option for downloading all E-way Bill invoices in CSV format. CSV will be in “GSTR1 offline format” which can be uploaded in offline tool to prepare return. This option will be suitable for taxpayer, who are preparing GSTR1 offline.
- Tax Payer having more than 500 E-way Bill in current tax period will get a download option for downloading all E-way Bill invoices in zip file format and extract the excel. Excel will be in “GSTR1 offline format”. Tax payer can add more invoices and fill other sheet like B2B, B2CL etc. in downloaded excel and upload in offline tool to prepare his/her return. This option will be suitable for taxpayer, who are preparing GSTR1 offline.
- The default value in “Invoice Type” and “Reverse Charge” fields for the invoices in downloaded excel/Online Import is “Regular” and “N” respectively. However, the taxpayer can change these default values as per the actual nature of transaction before uploading/saving in GSTR1.
